SATURDAY, MARCH 19TH

Blessings from Chiang Rai! It turns out they had several days of rain and cold weather just before we got here, so now that the sun is out again, it's been just gorgeous and unseasonably cool (I was wearing a jacket out on the patio at 10am today). We've been working on our teaching notes at the hotel most of the day today.

We visited P'Jala and P'Leah at the hospital today because their boy has some kind of virus and got dehydrated. (Their two kids are the cutest you'll ever find.) Also had lunch with Ron and David, the missionary who was in the car accident with him last week. It was good, but (alas) American food (David's choice since he's the most injured).

We heard today that the Pastors from Viet Nam were turned back at the border by the police, so they won't be able to attend the conference. Please pray with us that the other pastors will make it OK - there's another rain front expected in the next day or two and some will not be able to come if it's raining. Please also pray that we'll get everything together to record the messages for the pastors who will miss the conference.

  1. Praying that God would encourage those pastors who could not enter Thailand and that God would do a special work in them.
